We have an excellent stay at this hotel. The staff is warm and helpful, the room is spacious and luxury.
No coffee maker in the room.
Location and Parking for the car. Nice staff.
I did not have the impression to be in a 5 star hotel. Too small, tiny rooms, no separate shower.
I stayed here for a week and I was very impressed by the level of service and friendliness of staff. I was even picked up by a driver from the airport (on request) and was always given helpful advice on places to go from staff. I would definitely stay here again. A very clean, comfortable and luxurious place to stay. A very memorable and wonderful holiday!
Staff are good that's it
Everything really it's written as 5 star but it wasnt 5 star I could say 3 star maxmuim
The hotel lets the people feeling so warm, very good staff and service
Without good parking place when people arriving.
I got problem with my second day booking, they could not give me approriate room for the second day. That's why I needed to transfer for another hotel. This hotel should not be a five star and it's design results in less comfort.
i like modern design of the hotel, welcome smile of the staff when we got in and out from it...ah i did like their welcome macaroon
complementary coffee and tea in the room would be great and extra sanity bag in bathroom....
Best stay ever. At first I was a bit skeptical about the location, but it turned out to be very convenient, and I got to discover a beautiful new area I didn’t know, out of the touristic area, but it still was very easy to get there (Bus, metro, and a taxi station right outside of the Hotel). I read somewhere the breakfast wasn’t very convincing, but it was actually very good, as was the restaurant, not expensive but very lively (unlike other 5stars Hotels in Paris). The rooms are not small at all, we are in Paris and a 30sqm or so room for a 300+ euros is a very good deal in Paris. Besides being large the design inside really spoke to me as I felt like I was staying at a friend’s place, except for the bathrooms which are amazing. Everything is in marble, even the sink was carved in it. The most beautiful bathroom I’ve ever been into. As for the staff they provide a true 5 star Hotel service, always willing to go out of their way to help us. I would definitely go back a tell my friends about this little jewel.
The interior was unique! And the name was somewhat ironic - Square but the structure was not so 'square'!
Getting into the garage was somewhat inconvenient as you had to stop at reception and ask them to physically come and open for you. A card access system would be much more convenient for 25 euro per day. Also the fact that the gym opened at 9am - someone coming to the city, paying such a price for a few night's stay is most likely coming for business; by 9am the guest would be off to work. The gym should offer better hours for the business person.
Staff were freindly and helpful
Massively overpriced for what it was and where it was. Not being an expert on Paris, I relied on the write ups of the Square as a luxury boutiue hotel. Instead I found it to be more 'Travel lodge' plus. The rooms were dark. The location was bad. There was no grandeur or presence. Just a very average hotel with good staff in a poor location. Given that this was advertised as 5 star alongside muhc more famous hotels in much better locations, I was very very disappointed.
I wonder how did they get 5 stars???Up to me, it's only 3 and not more. Its far from centre, situated in district without good shops and restaurants. You should walk at least 25 min to get Eiffel Tower,so I don't think, that it is close!!!Breakfast is also poor,5-star hotel must have a variety buffet for breakfast, but they offers only some breakfast sets, which are expensive and not interesting at all.The design of rooms and lobby is also poor and demand reconstruction.Besides,we had some strange accident-at our first night at the hotel, while we were sleeping, smbd entered our room with his kee, came in,look around and went out!!!I Was very afraid, because I was only with my daughter...Next morning I told the staff about me,but they couldn't gave me any explanations untill my departure, so I don't know what it was...
Car wash-like shower, location, staff, private parking.
Drain in shower was slow...shower began to overflow after a couple of minutes.
The rooms where big, clean and spacious. The staff were all excellent, particularly the girls on the front desk they were all extremely helpful.
Wonderful room. If I could get the same room at a reasonable rate I'd return. Staff were very nice, helpful, or at least tried to be...see below. Bed, in particular, was very comfortable. The hotel's look and the room's design were surprisingly nice, a welcome alternative to the classic French hotel and room. Nice restaurant, as well.
I wish it were a bit closer to a Metro stop, though that was no deal-breaker. Staff, as noted, were very, very nice and helpful. I don't think they had quite the experience and training for a true, high-end luxury hotel. This was really apparent mostly just in assisting a guest ie where to go and what good restaurants. A true concierge would be useful. That said, I do NOT want to come down hard on them. They always came through. Really not much negative I could say about Hotel Square.
The rooms are excellent, very spacious with an ample bathroom and a separate toilet. The upkeep of the rooms is excellent, with new bathroom linen twice a day, if necessary. The hotel staff was on the whole very friendly and helpful.
On the weekend we were there the breakfast service was very slow. My impression was that there was simply not enough personnel in the kitchen.
